I always thought I was going to be a writer, or at least a poet but life got in the way. Never settled on a career so I just bounced between those things that I could do to make the money I needed to exist. Now that I’m older I sometimes can find the time and the vehicle to tell my story, hence the stories I tell here.
Some material might be recycled from one of my other blog projects. I lost my platform a while ago and converted things to here. Less of me here, though, and more of thee. In other places, it’s poetry but here you get stories. Some true, some not so true but all of them Truth.
Mechanically speaking I’m an older white man living the suburbs of a city. I have a family and my home is a swirling vortex of creativity. There’s dogs and cats around. I have worked many different jobs of varying caliber, from temporary to long term. A couple of years ago I was rehired by the same employer for the fifth time and managed to turn that into the semblance of a career. Doesn’t matter what kind of job I did or do, though because no matter what my employers thought I was doing I was really just searching for Truth.
I can retire now, or wait a few more years but I also know that I am one of those kinds of people who never retire. I’ll always have something going on. Still haven’t been a School Bus driver, something I’ve always wanted to do.
